Glam Couture is proud to bring to SL our first annual remediation of the MET GALA! This event was inspired by the RL MET GALA and their dedicated work behind raising money for the Arts. Our mission for the Gala is to raise money for Relay for Life of Second Life on behalf of the RL American Cancer Society.

 

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization, dedicated to eliminating & preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

 

The mission of Relay For Life is the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

This year's theme for the Gala is to 'BE YOUR OWN STYLE'. We encouraged everyone to show off their own style and idea about couture. It was a night where Art met Fashion! An evening of elegance for a very good cause. A diverse group of people came together for a wonderful cause. It was truly a night to remember.
